Day of Knockout Noveling

Our annual DOKN celebration is exactly what it sounds like — an eight-hour marathon of writing, snacking, and collaboration.

Guests are welcome (but not required) to bring a dish or beverage to pass — it’s a day-long potluck, and hot dishes are welcome. Our building offers a full-service kitchen to assist with your culinary needs. No virtual programming will be held during this time, although word wars may be conducted through Discord throughout the day.

Although the bookstore will be open, no purchases are necessary or expected, and there’s no cost (or donation) to join our festivities. We will have tables set up for a silent auction, for people inclined to participate.

The venue is adjacent to a stop on The Rapid route #44 and there’s ample parking in our parking lot; check our Discord server for a ride-share thread. Our facility is ADA compliant with the exception that the exterior doors are not automatic and one of the two restrooms is grandfathered. No staircases or complex navigation is required. For guests who need them, sanitation supplies (masks, gloves, cleaners) are available.
